Tips & Variations

  • Up the veg count by adding chunks of courgette, cubes of pepper, or onion wedges to the skewers before cooking for extra flavor and color.

Storage

Store any leftover cooked chicken skewers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat gently in a pan or microwave until warmed through. It’s best to store the salad ingredients separately to keep them fresh.

How to Serve

On the flatbread in the front, there is also a small lime wedge placed near the skewers. FAQs

Can I use a different type of yogurt for the marinade?

Yes, you can use any plain yogurt, but Greek yogurt works best as it is thicker and helps coat the chicken evenly without making the marinade too runny.

How do I know when the chicken skewers are fully cooked?

The chicken is cooked when it is no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear. Cooking for about 10-12 minutes while turning regularly usually ensures thorough cooking.
